Oil drain plug on TC25/29D and NH - bolt only?

Again - while adjusting loader pressure and such. I was inspecting for leaks, etc.. Found a very small amount of oil around the drain plug and it prompted me to ask this question. Does the drain plug consist of just the bolt - or a bolt and washer or a bolt, washer and rubber gasket. Just thought I would double check this because when I drained it - the bolt fell into the drain tub - then I dumped the drain tub out after removing the bolt. I could sift through the 5 gal. bucket to make sure that there was no more parts in there other than the bolt I pulled out but it would be messy. Could someone please take a look for me? - that is look at your NH unit.

The drain plug on my rig has only a copper washer. I would have preferred a washer with a rubber o-ring like my truck has because sometimes if everything isn't just right it weeps a little.

Not that anybody does it, but I think those copper washers are designed to be replaced each time you change the oil. Copper is a soft metal that crushes and that is what provides the seal.

I have always used nylon or plastic washers on my oil pans. I haven't bought any for years, because I made a couple of dozen at the last machine shop that I worked at. You should be able to find them at AutoZone or PepBoys.
