YEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
My son and I went fishing last night, not quite in the conventional way.
Stopped by my buddies place that does transmissions.
Course, his answer was something along the lines of "You moron, hook the dang thing over here and let us fix it right"

Gotta love honest friends.
Anyway, he lent me a borescope, and reminded me of something I had forgotten that one of the best tools in the world for that was a pair of hemostats.
So, went home, ended up 5 minute epoxying the magnets, one to an aluminum welding rod, one to a coat hanger, the Super glue kept giving up the ghost.
Played with the borescope for a while and could not get the angles to work right.
Went fishing in the dark with the coat hanger and with the little magnet epoxied on and heard a satisfying "click" then got it over to the hole, and with the hemostats was able to lock on and get it wiggeled, up, around, sideways and out.
Man, am I relieved.
Now I just need to find a drain plug, the threads dont actually look that hurt so I am thinking a Fumoco and red locktite at the moment.
Thanks so much for all the help and those that took the time to respond.
