Oil for Yanmar F 200

Good morning everyone,
.
On my second hand YANMAR F 200 is not enough oil in the place marked with # 1 (please see attached photo).
Existing oil is red. The same oil goes through the filter (CAPA, CP145VL-35) on the hydraulic pump, which is located on the engine.

1 / What kind of oil should be used?
2 / Do I have to complement the oil or is it better to change all the oil?

over here where i live. I'd use a good UTF fluid .. many are dyed red.. like HYtran.. etc.

i'm not familiar with your tractor enough to say if it specs an ATF type fluid or not ( also commonly dyed red ).

if it was a straight gear machine.. i think i'd opt for a utf.

if it's a lil low.. mixing is usually fine.. if it's way low.. i'd change it.

hopefully someone with your machine type will come along and quote the spec out of the book.

You're right. I found in other sources also UTF and Hytran.
So I think that's it.

Don't know about your newer yanmar,but on older ones like mine, some owners have used ATF which is red. while others like me, use hyd fluid JD 303 specs
