I just bought a 1967 John deere 2510 tractor, I want to run this gas tractor in the winer and need to change the oil. Does anyone know what kind of oil i should put in in and also how much it will hold? Also is it recommended to put staybill in the gas tack if it will see minimal use, its in a shed but no door on it. Thanks for Help.

I would recommend 10w30 for winter use and it would be ok for summer also. I always use John Deere TorqGard Plus50 II which is a diesel grade oil, but it is good for heavy use on a gas engine as well.

If I remember correctly, it should be about 7 quarts.
