Can anyone tell me where I would find the procedure to replace the oil seal on the front wheels on Kubota L39? I am a newby to this forum. I have oil leaking around both front wheels of my tractor. Thanks

Hi, Hillma.

You might have better luck in the 'Kubota Owning / Operating' forum. This leak is a common problem with the L series tractors and updated, improved parts are available. I replaced the seals on my L2900 myself using just a parts diagram from the dealer. It was a pretty straightforward job. About 300 bucks in parts and a couple of evenings in the shop, and I was good to go. Something you might try to save rebuilding is to replace the hydraulic fluid in the front end with 80W90 gear lube. Quite a bit thicker, but still lubes the gears just fine. May be thick enough not to leak.
