Hi all,
I have a TT60A that the oil "idiot" light has recently come on. I hooked up a gauge and it shows 54 psi when semi-warm at idle rpm. I also bought a new pressure switch and installed it, hoping that would be the solution (cheap solution- the pressure switch is less than $5 from dealer).
Well, there was no change in the idiot light. So, with the oil pressure gauge installed, I ran the machine and grounded the wire through a test light. The idiot light got brighter. I also plugged in a pressure switch and grounded it, the light got brighter in that case as well.
Any ideas? I hate to spend $300 on a new instrument cluster, but if that is the fix, i will.
Thanks,
Jay
