I'm trying to sort out my instruments on my Jinma 204, TY290 engine. Instrument cluster is the square style. Can anyone help me identify the wiring for the oil pressure sender. All three wires were off!
I've attached a picture. I'm confused as to which is the actual sender. The top one one with the red and yellow arrows (which screws in), or the lower unit (marked with the blue arrow) which also screws in.
On the top unit, one connector is marked G for ground (the red arrow) and the other WK (the yellow arrow) which I assume is the oil warning light??
So the black ground wire (3) goes to ground.
That leaves the other two connectors (the yellow and the blue arrow).
But which ever way I connect the other two wires (1 & 2) I don't get anything.
The only think I've noticed is that when I turn the ignition on, the needle on the gauge moves up just fractionally. Once the engine starts though it drops back down.
Any thoughts on which wire goes where and is there any way to test the sender?
Anyone had a picture of their unit on the same tractor would be great.
Many thanks
Mark
