Allis Chalmers 615 backhoe D2200 I think
Manual calls for AM303 for Torque tube/Power steering. AM303 for the Shuttle clutch. 80EP for the Transmission. SAE20-20 for the Final drive's. Was thinking SAE30 for engine? Not sure what Hydraulic oil to use? Tractor is is in northern NY but I only run it above 50 degrees. Thank you..

A good known brand of transmission hydraulic fluid would be acceptable in anything, but the engine. 30wt for the engine would work fine. The transmission could use 80EP or trans/hydraulic.

Thanks for making me research the 303 though as here is an article to the origins of 303 that I wasn't aware:

I think I used 15-40 for the engine. It gets used 0-15 hours a year. The only reservoir I have had to add to is the hydraulics which was AM303. Just wondering if someone has a 70's tractor and if I should be concerned about the newer additives in most oils. Some additives are not good for yellow metals and old seals from what i read. This tractor has 5 or 6 different fill points and specs out 4 different oils. The two most important to me are the cross reference to a newer oil for AM303 and 80ep gear oil.

The engine is Being treated well with 15w40.
I wouldn’t worry about the newer oils as they probably protect more than harm.
My old 550 Ford and KD Forklift with a 78 Ford power train work well with the new oils.

maybe stick w/conventional (diesel rated) rather than full synthetic (engine & trans) to avoid taking out old seals. some may disagree on that but conventional alone will do you just fine.
