Oil & Fuel oil

have a Century 3638 -similar to a 3820 branson. The dip stick has several marks but noshowing of full or add. How much oil does this thing hold.(38 hp) I need to give it an over due first service and need to know how much engine and hyd oil not counting the front axle Thank you Doug

So, how did your first maintenance go? I just completed my 50 hour maintenance. I was pleased with the price of both the oil and hydraulic filters at my local dealer (not very expensive at all). I did everthing but the front end (ran short of hydraulic oil). Branson has been great about sending me their manuals (I bought the tractor used without manuals) but the manuals are "skimpy" at best--probably a language difficulty. Even with some spillage, mine held a bit more than 10 gallons of hydraulic fluid. It is still running great.

The service was quick and easy no problems. Didn't do the front axle it will get done in a week or so. Went to a Branson dealer and got the filters and hyd oil. Used Rotella in the engine.

I just bought two jugs of Rotella full-syn 5W-40 last night...How much does it take???
