Finally got to take a look at my dad's 430 diesel garden tractor. Was surprised by it's size and also that it had front hydraulic line outlets. With a little bit of research I found that a #44 FEL was made by JD for these, right? That got me to thinking, what can we do with one of these? Although it does NOT have PTO or 3-point hitch, I see conversion kits on EBay. I assume these are a cat 0 3pt, not a cat 1 right? I would like to know what kinds of equipment anyone has used their 430 to propel: FEL, BH, PHD, etc.
Maybe we don't need to sell it to get something bigger after all if it will do some of the things we need (light residential FEL, BH, PHD). Thanks in advance for any info. -jr.
