ok...which of you easterners sent the snow here to idaho

tomorrow till Friday, snow 8" or more, Up in the great north east. We sure have had a great winter if your a skier or have a snowmobile.

well, were generally never thru with snow till late march, early april. i was just hoping for a nice light year. 2 years ago we had 144" for the season. this year, maybe 36" (possibly less)

GRS - Where are you at? I had more snow than that in November, I would put my season total at about 100-120" after the last storm. I am on the east side of CDA lake and at 3300'. I enjoyed my 3 hours on the tractor today but no cab

north of cda...between cda and sandpoint. we have had a real light year to say the least. i have a friend near harrisson and hes had twice the snow weve had...oh, and i went to clear 2 other driveways today. it was +7F on the thermometer with 20 mph winds...that makes the wind chill around -9F. and boy was that cab nice. i really dont know why i put off buying a tractor with a cab this long. Ok, i just pulled my wifes snowfall report for our homeowners association, it shows 45" total accumulation from Nov 20,2010 - dec 31, 2010 and so far 14 " since jan 1st thru today. so i guess the semi official record for us here this season is ===== 59". so i guess my guess was all wrong. but its still alot less than normal.

Even we got some snow out here in NW Oregon. I am totally okay with it, I got 2 hours of seat time on my Yanmar today plowing 4" of snow off the driveway. I dont have a cab but when you live in NW Oregon and love to plow snow, you dont even notice the cold temps. until you get inside. :laughing:

Should I start building a snow plow blade?? It might snow here this Sunday and we may get all of 2 to 4". It will lay around most all day. It did snow here about 7 years ago and that big 3" snow was here ( well in the shade.) almost 2 days. I better work fast, so that I can use a snow balde.

yup....make it flat instead of curved, so you can rework it into a welding table when the great thaw comes :thumbsup:

I bought one of those Hemi powered snowblowers and cleared my yard. Last I heard, the shuttle crew saw the "rooster tail" as a sent it off your way!
