Hey guys.. looking for some old.. but not antique stove parts. My stepfather built his house in about 1972 and has a 'built in' I guess you call it, chambers stove/griddle top, and is looking for parts.
Model # GSO 42-E-1
He is looking for the following parts, new:
4 each Flash Tube Assy., Part # CC 30485
1 each Top Burner Valve, Part # CC 580013
I've surfed for a while this weekend and have come to the conclusion that if he had a 30's, 50's, or 60's model stove.. he'd have no problems getting ANY part, New, NOS, or used/refurbed that he wanted, including entire stoves. However.. this 'old' stove model that is not yet antique is proving more difficult. it's old enough that regular appliance wharehouses , services, and gas stove specialty shops don't have parts for it.. yet it's just not quite old enough for the antique appliance sites to have many listings on it. like I said.. If it were about 20-40's year older.. I could buy the darn thing piece by piece it seems.
So far I've tried at:
chambersstoves.net
antiqueappliances.com
antiquestoves.com
These were among the best hits on google. I did see 'stoves.net' but it struck me as more of a 'craigslist' style site where people mainly do swap-meet and used aprts stuff..e tc. I don't want to go that route if i can help it...
any of you guys know of any other places I need to try? My stepfather doesn't want to get rid of it.. but for the last few weeks everything he and my mother cooks has to be bake or microwavable!

Thanks
