- Farmall M, AC 170 gas
Hi from Michigan.
Grew up on the farm with Beef & Dairy. Sold off the last of the cattle in 1999 prior to Dad's passing in 2000. Looking to possibly get into market farming some produce and renting an acre or two for garden space to less fortunate urban dwellers. Inherited a Farmall M and an Allis 170 gas, with a few implements. Lately I've been looking for a replacement driveshaft for a 12' Cutditioner. Mine twisted off just behind the slip clutch. Best price last year, during the China Olympics steel shortage, was over $400 for a piece of steel less than two feet long. Up until it broke, it has been the best mower I've ever used. I hope I can answer some questions from those just starting and share qhat I've learned, as well as learn what you al lcan share as well.
