:) He could probably sell it today for what he paid for it! Pretty amazing how tractors hold their value. When he passes the knowledge he will take with him will be like a small library burning . Learn all you can !

More power to you and your dad. Be nice if it could last forever.:)

My Grand dad made it to 103 and knew more than I will ever know. I still rely on his wisdom most every day.

Not my dad, but I made friends with an old farmer, Oscar, he made it to 97 still plowing and cultivating till his last year. I was only friends with him for the last 2 years. I had a great time with him while it lasted, but I wish it could of been longer.

At first it was such a shock to me when he died last December, because he was around for so long it seemed like he would be forever. But now after half a year has gone by, I feel like how could he of lived for so long, with all the young people that don't make it to 50.

So like everyone said, enjoy the time with him now.

Pic of Oscar just about a year ago, with the cultivator too.

What a great picture and story. The man who farms our land with his son and grandsons is in his 80's and I talk to him often, twice yesterday. He is a wealth of information and one of the nicest men you will ever meet.

We let them use our barn for storage and he was down there working on it in this heat right along with his son and grandson and was still checking out his crops after everyone else had quit for the day.
