Since there's been much discussion about the new trucks, I thought I'd show the two veterans I've been working on.
The truck with the winch bed is a '59 White 4400TD with a 220 Cummins and a 10 Sp RoadRanger trans. Originally it was a tractor with a fifth wheel. Dad drove this truck when new. I was three years old when I first rode in it. I bought it nearly two years ago from the dealer who took it in on trade back in '67.
The second truck I bought last month from a fellow antique truck fanatic in Kansas. It is a '57 White WC22PLT powered by a White Mustang 6 cylinder flathead engine with a 5 sp trans and 2 sp rear axle. Dad's first truck was the same model except it was a '55. Both trucks will eventually be painted red.

A local trucking company in the town I live in has the original truck that the great grandpa started with, I believe it is an International K5 or KB5, I've hheard them say it but can't remember the exact model and #.

Those are some nice looking trucks, I'd like to find an old one and restore it someday ike that.

It's refreshing to see in todays horsepower wars. Did I read the brochure right on 57 horsepower? I guess you actually have to use the gears.

The standard engine was a 180 Cummins. That's what my '59 originally had but it was upgraded to a 220 as soon as possible. That's 220 hp, also doesn't have a turbo on it.

Nice looking trucks.

Might as well pull in style.

Here's a few interior shots of the '59. Also shots of the engine. The engine was installed from the factory with a 7 degree slant to the right so it would fit under the hood. I re-painted it in the original "Cummins Old Gold".

Also a few shots of the flathead 6 White Mustang engine in the '57. It will be painted Machinery Grey.
