Here's a few pictures of what Sunday looked like at my place. At the back of the field (2nd picture) you can see where I was trying to turn the dirt over. I had to wait, it was just a little to muddy. It's all done now.

Pretty well defined snow line there Lynn. What is your guess of the elevation there at the snow line?
Dust off the sled:D

I'd say 7500' to 8000' in elevation.

I did start my sled a week ago just to smell the two stroke exhaust.

Lovely, lovely view cat fever! As one who grew up in Calgary with a view of the mountains from my bedroom window, I can really appreciate what you have!

Thanks Check,

Other than a few months living in Hawaii and a couple years in South Carolina I have always lived in Utah with mountain views. I get lost when I visit my son in Missouri. The sun always comes up somewhere different. :confused3: I never can tell which way is north.

The snow line looks about the same here in Northern Nevada. Wandering around at about 6-8,000 ft. A nice preview of things to come. We had our first fire the other night just because. The radiant heat has been on for a couple of days now and we have been checking the thermometer in the mornings. 29 this morning.

Somehow, it feels good, and I'm ready for the change.

One more camping trip planned for this weekend and I'll be getting the trailer prepared tomorrow. Then, that's it till spring.

I am so grateful to have our tight, well insulated and secure home!

I know some people hate the snow. :confused3: For some reason I'm looking forward to winter.
