OK I am playing around with my 25+year old 18HP garden tractor. It not getting fuel to the carb. Will run fine if I dribble gas through the carb. I had also used a small can of fuel with hose attached to gravity feed and carb works fine. I did this to see if pluse fuel pump would pump, but no go. I replaced the pulse fuel pump, but just cant get it to pump fuel.

I was think of just getting a small electric fuel pump, but figured I would need a pressure regulator. New hoses all around too. Fuel is good to new pump.

Thoughts on a simple fix.

Thanks

The old hose may have collapsed internally preventing fuel from getting from the tank to the carb. Or a big gob of junk is in the bottoms of the tank.
When you pull the old hose off the carb does it flow?

Yes if I hold it low enough. But I will check again. I was going to pull the tank anyway and clean it out, just in case there is junk where I cant see. However I do get good flow through the can filter that is 1 foot off the tank.
