Howdy folks,
I have 27 acres i would love to get after, just some spraying and some field work, and have an old Ferguson tractor. I think it might be a 35. The problem is that it is sitting on flat, dry rotted tires all the way around. The fronts are no problem, we have regular car tires on there, but the rears are a problem. I believe they are 12.4x26. on 11" rims. OF COURSE these are hard to find, and expensive when i do find them.
I need advice on this. Is there something that would fit and be available to regular human beings, or do I need to continue my search for the elusive 26?
OR can i find a rim that would accommodate a tire made in this century someone other than Mitt Romney can afford?
Yes, I'm frustrated.
Yes, the time is ticking.
No, I dont know a single thing about anything.
Any help or words of advice appreciated. Willing to chuck the whole thing and just get a different tractor with 28's? Maybe....
Thanks folks, sorry so mad...
Ted
