I found this old disc (I think it is an Athens) and have always wanted a transport type (as 3 point discs are pretty worthless, in my experience)
The gentleman wants $500 for it. I did not have a chance to look it over, and these cell phone pix are weak, but any comments about this disc? Obviously the hydraulic cylinder is disconnected and the hoses are worn, and it's questionable how the bearings are, but restoring seems to be fairly straightforward, worst case scenario would be new discs, bearings, and cylinder and labor. Would this disc be worth the effort? I also wonder if the discs are the original type. I would have thought a heavy harrow would have had thicker steel. Not sure what size axle it has.
