Tractor
None
Hi everyone
veryone I am new to this forum. I see there's a lotta helpful and good information on this site. I was hoping anyone out there that would be willing to answer a question of mine. I don't know a lot about tractors so that's why I am asking. I have an opportunity to buy a 2004 4410 John Deere with a 430 loader,a 59" front mount snowblower with weight box it has 450 hours on it and very good shape for 17,300.00. Or a 2017 3015 Branson with a sl15 loader, with a 150 hrs. The Branson still carries a 5 year warranty for 18,000.00. which route do you believe would be the best to go I've know virtually nothing about Branson tractors. Any help anyone would give me would be greatly appreciated thank yo

If you have a Branson dealer within a reasonable distance I would opt for the 3015. The 4410 at 17300 sounds high to me for an 04, it's a good tractor though and has low hours, if you like it better than the Branson I would see if you could knock him down on the price.

Yes I do have a Branson dealer in town. The John Deere interested me alot because of the snow blower. That tractor is 34 hp. The Branson is 30 hp. I will mainly be using it for snow removal on my 2 long drive ways. And some landscape work around home. Is 30 hp enough.

That front blower was $5-6,ooo new so a big plus;low hours on the JD for the year. Both 4WD?
That JD is a Yanmar which is a big plus also;shuttle shift.I would dicker on the price.Nothing against Branson, just none in our area.

Just confused which way to go. How will using a blower be without a cab.

Both are hydrostatic and 4 wheel drive. 72" bucket on JD and 58" on the Branson. The Bransons loader is rated at 18# vs 1300 on the JD. Will the JD handle that big of bucket filled full of dirt

I like the Deere better myself and the front blower is a huge plus. Blowing powder in the wind isn't fun but that is the only time I get snow back at my cab.. From what have read Branson makes a decent tractor..

Thanks for the help
I guess I got to decide if old with no warranty vs newer with a 5 year warranty. Im sure repairs arenot cheap on tractors. The snowblower is kinda the kicker here cause it wood be nice to have but clearing snow with a loader shouldn't be that bad I wouldn't think. Also the dealer will throw in a new box blade with the Branson. Is 30 hp enough in a tractor that size.

30hp should be enough but snow removal is no fun and very time consuming with a loader bucket.

If you don't have the blower, plan on buying or adapting a front plow. If you have more than 100 feet or so of driveway, a loader gets real old real quick. Adapting a snowplow to my tractor was the best move I ever made, even though I already had a 3 point blower.
