Buying Advice Older John Deere or newer branson

Yes I have 2 driveways 100 long. Is The front blower the best route to go. We get alot of snow in Wisconsin.

If you can get along without a bucket then the front blower is a better idea (of course you need to have the extra $$ as well). I have a 40hp (cab) with a 3pth blower and bucket on front and do my 250' laneway no problem. Without a heated cab though I would be less excited about a rear blower (having gone through years of snow showers) but I use the loader quite a bit in the winter to move snow piles, wood, etc.

I definitely need the loader. I just didn't know what the better deal was ,with the JD coming with the blower and loader. Little concerned that the 6 ft bucket may be to big for the JD. If I choose the Branson, a friend said to put a 7ft snow pusher on it for snow removal ,anyone use one of those.

The 6ft bucket isn't to big, you take a smaller bite if you need to but my SCUT has a 5ft bucket and it works great. A snow plow works better on a long driveway than a pusher IMO.

Agree on both points above ... mine bucket is a 6ft and it works fine. If I had to choose between a pusher and a plow I'd go plow.
