Older Stihl pole saw does not pick up the load when cutting

I'm not sure on the aftermarket carbs but I think all of my saws, weed eaters and pole saw have them. Never really had a prob. I only buy them because they cost less than a kit. If the saw doesn't run right after sitting a long while it's faster to replace the carb than to clean and kit the original. I have received the wrong carb more than once so you need to be sure on the application.

We have a Stihl FR45 I think at work that has had 2 Amazon carbs in about 5 years... I tried cleaning the original but it didn't work and no way to get to the passages.

Bottom line is with Stihl, they run great with fuel in them (high octane). . . I have no problems with any of my Stihl products.

Sometimes its simply a plugged up exhaust screen. The fix is free.
