I am looking at an older model Woods RM-90 finish mower. The mower appears to be in good shape, but I don't know what a fair price would be.

One thing that bothers me about it is that it only has 2 wheels. I wonder how hard/expensive it would be to add 2 wheels to the front?

I've never looked at one that wide, but the 60s go from $300 - $600 around here, depending on condition. Find a set of wheels off an L59 or equivalent belly mower. They bolt to the front of the deck and as far as i can tell, should bolt right on (or at least it appears they will on an RM60). It thought the same thing when looking at used RM60s. The wheels bolt onto the outside front corners where the block-off plate bolts to make it discharge left or right....... and i theorize shouldn't interfere with your tractors rear tires. If you can't find a set...... they should be easy enough to make.

If all the pulley bearings, blades and belts are in good shape it could be worth $800 or maybe more. A later version of that mower (RM-990) with 4 castors sold for $1400 this past summer - 10 yr old machine. For some ideas on the 4 wheel setup, here's a pic (not my mower) showing the castor arms and the swinging pin links on a RM-990. The RM-90 has ribs on the ends so something like this could be added.
