I would like to add some LED work(headlights) lights for better vision. I added a pair of LED work cubes to my motorcycle which are 18W each or 36W; which is what I would like to add to the tractor. I think the 36 W draw translates to approx 3 A. Does the Onan engine put out enough current to run a 3A pair of lights? what are others expierences? Would I be better off modifying the headlights which are already on the tractor? Overall the stock setup looks weak to say the least.
FYI my expierence with these LED is that they are good at lighting up close and mid range objects. The LED cubes are not good at projecting long distances for vehicle tpye of driving or headlights. The range at which they do illuminate I think would be ideal for mowing when it starts to get dark.
Any input is appreciated.
