"One machine" mentality

   / "One machine" mentality #21
I'm just curious how many people fall in which camp - and why.
I love my BX. It does EVERYTHING (for me) better than any other tractor could. It is small enough for my yard, has enough capacity to do anything I've ever asked, and mows the lawn very, very, very well.

I love 4WD and power steering. I love having a post-hole-digger anytime I want.

I love that I haven't done anything more than 3 (100 hour) tune ups in 4 years of ownership and it still runs as good as new. Literally. If I washed it, I'd be able to put it on a showroom floor.

I love that it has paid for itself already...honestly...it is free-to-me just by the value of projects I've done for myself in the past 4 years.

I love that it takes up about as much room (with all implements) as 2.5 'regular' mowers. Or a ZTR and a 'regular' mower.

I'm glad I didn't get a B as it would have been too big. But if I get a place in the woods, I'd want a B or L, so go figure. Everyone's different.

Therefore, I am firmly 100% rooted in the "one machine" camp. After 4 years, it could not have worked out any better for me.
