Kubota BX2230/Ramrod mini skid loader/Carlton stump cutter
Folks, I' am tired of 6 or 7 different oils that I have to stock for 6 or 7 different engines. I am most concerned with my Kubota BX2230, I want to use Delo 15-w-40 or Rotella 15-w-40. I was told you could also use this oil in just about any other engine including Honda and Briggs. Any opinions would be helpful.
thanks

It would seem that the most universal oil is 10W30. Redline 10W30 is rated for diesels and gas. Kubotas manual calls for 10W30 or 15W40. On the otherhand, I use Delo 15W40 in my truck and tractor and Supreme 5W30 in my gas car. Everything else like my Honda generator etc gets 10W30. I don't find it much of a hassle using the various types.
