online maintenance records

Anybody know of a online web site where you can keep all your maintenance records? If not, does anybody have a spread sheet that will do this?

I started out with a spreadsheet and good intentions, ended up with a hangtag in the shop where I write down things as I do them, greasy hands and all. To answer your question, you could look at Google docs online, I've used it for group editing of documents. You could create a spreadsheet that would always be there, let other people look at it if you want to. Lots of people get bent out of shape about google seeing what they're doing, just so you know that's a "feature".

I did not keep detailed records on my tractors as I should have. I do have spreadsheets for our cars and pickups on which I have kept up with every nickel that's gone into them, every repair, service, etc. with date and mileage. The only expense not included is when I wash the exterior and/or vacuum the interior myself.

Here is a sample of one that I keep for our vehicles and a blank one for the tractor. These are Excel spreadsheets. Unfortunately, this site will not allow me to attach a spreadsheet so I printed the screen and attached as a jpeg. If you can use it and have a way to modify (Excel program) the spreadsheet I can email it to you. After you open the thumbnails, zoom in to clear up the pictures. The great thing about a spreadsheet is you can always add a column if a maintenance item comes up you didn't think of initially.

I use an excel spreadsheet for my BX. Each time I use it I record the tractor hours when done i.e. "mowing" or "loader". The tractor run time is the base. on another page I set up a report that totals the hours on the loader and mower, etc. and I use that for maintenance. Each impliment has a page and I note the hours and what I did like "replace wingnut" or "50 hour maintenance".
