I'll have to do some more research it sounds like...this tractor was a single family owned machine, three generations in an orchard. A quick look at the serial numbers told me it was a '42 9n, but I could be mistaken. One dog leg is missing, the other needs some serious work to the point of not being worth the time. The grill was home made, although it works, it isn't right. I also don't believe the radiator is correct. The fenders can be fixed, also a lot of work, but not terrible. These fenders have the raised ford script. For the replacement body parts, I want to keep it like it was when new. I don't want reproduction parts if I can help it. It sounds like there shouldn't be raised lettering on the fenders anyway. Might just turn into a frankenford, who knows. I'm just trying to figure out what is correct as I get into this project.
