Typical Sunday for me... Blue skies, nice temps, hop on the Deere and start clearing land. I really need to post some pictures of the work I've done. Better yet I'll have to host the North East group out there sometime.
Well right around quitting time, i.e. lawn mowing time, I got the underside caught up in a tangle of these weedy trees I'm clearing out. I think I stripped the wiring harness that controls the HST right out of it's sockets. The warning light is giving me 1 short and 3 long flashes. I tried re-inserting the wires into the wiring harness, but it was a no-go. I'll be calling the dealer today to see if I can get direction, and possibly a new wiring harness.
For you 4310 guys, this is the two wire module that comes out of the pedal control module. The wires start inside a black plastic housing where the pedals connect. I'm assuming it's some sort of electronic control for the beastie. The end that got yanked is just under the pedals where several wires appear to be joined. There are a few sets of wires, all harnessed and tie-wrapped there - this one has two green wires with pretty long metal conectors that appear to enter the harness.
If anyone has a good idea for a fix I'll take it - otherwise I'll just buy a new connector and hope that it takes care of the problem. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Oh - BTW - all the other systems are fine, the BH and FEL hydraulics work fine - I am just dead in the dirt... so to speak. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
