Opinion on MTD lawn tractor

I agree that an old used mower may be the answer. The last 2 mowers I bought were 35 year old Cub Cadet's. I bought each at auctions with 48" decks for under $250 each. With the old 12 hp Kohler engines they continue to run and mow 3.5 acres. They each use a little oil but they have heavy steel frames and will stand the bouncing they get on my old pasture lawn.
