Hi everyone, new to this section of the forum and looking for some help.
I've been looking for a skidsteer recently, and found a Case 1845B for sale. I talked with the owner and he said that everything works fine, the only thing is that it burns a quart of oil every 2 weeks or so. He is asking 5k for this machine.
Opinions? I'm a little leary of buying a machine that burns oil... Lets say the worst comes to worst and the engine needs replacing. How much are we talking for a remanufactured engine?
