Opinions on a Land Pride 48" Finish Mower

I am buying a used 4-foot Land Pride mower tomorrow. I don't have the model number, but it is used, it's a side-discharge, the spindle pans are triangle-shaped, and it has four caster wheels. It looks like a nice mower, and there's a dealer just up the road from me for parts. $500. Does anyone have one of these? Any issues? Opinions?

Land Pride makes very good equipment. Top drawer all the way!
If you know the mower's model number, you may find the operator's manual on the Land Pride website.

I will advise you to not wait too long, if you're seriously interested. Good implements sell quickly and that 48" RFM will fit a lot of smaller CUTs.

After looking at the manuals online on LandPride, it looks like the model is: FD1548

Their paint jobs suck, but Landpride attachments are built pretty well.

The mower is in worse shape than I thought. It's made real well and I like it a lot, but I paid a little too much for it in its current condition. It nust've been sitting outside for quite awhile. The gauge wheels were frozen. Had to pound them with a hammer to remove them and grind all the rust off. The blades will need to be taken off and ground and sharpened. The worst part is the drive shaft. I think the connector on the tractorr side might be too rusty to use....I don't think I can get the plastic collar to turn enough to release the spline bearings to get it on the tractor pto. The bearings inside the shaft lookblike they're frozen too.
