I’m thinking about trading in my 3720 for a new tractor. I do this every 5-6 years.
My 3720 was the last of the non emissions tractors, and that is one of the reasons I’m asking the question.

Are the new 3046 EGR tractors showing any engine/tier 4 related issues that are similar to the 100% EGR treated road Diesel engines? Intake caking, high fuel consumption, excessive heat and regen, EGR related reduced oil life? Etc.
Thanks.

I would not trade it in unless you have 2000 or 3000 hours on that tractor. I can see you moving to a new tractor if you own a business or if you want to move from a open station to a cab model. If you are buying like for like and do have a business, I would wait a couple more years to see what the new tractors will have for emissions.
