What's the optimal sizes for the following 3pt hitch implements for use with a GC2310:
- scraper blade
- box blade
- landscaping rake
- rototiller
- bushhog
- rear-mount snow blower

I've been told that 4' wide will work, but in some cases will 5' wide, or 6' wide work just as well (or better, because you'll cover more ground in the same amount of time)?

- scraper blade -5ft
- box blade --4 FT
- landscaping rake--5FT
- rototiller--48"-52"---Woods 52" works great
- bushhog---42"-48"
- rear-mount snow blower????????sorry on this one.

Masseydealer, the Woods rep. in Ohio told my dealer a 42" tiller was max for the 2310 and thought is was still too big for it. I miss Charley Pieter for their rep.. I wished I had at least a 48" since the 42" is too small.

I agree with MASSEYDEALER. I have a 4 ft boxblade, works great, think I could have gotten away with 5 ft if I had to. 48" rotary cutter works great, no problems, probably would go any bigger. I think the tractor could run it but would be more difficult.

A 48" rear snow blower works well. My third winter with one. My only complaint was the weight made the front end very light, made steering difficult while backing up. I had the front tires foam filled to add extra weight. It made a big difference. Just finished my storm clean up this morning, went through 2 foot drifts without problems.

The 48" tiller I have works great. I don't think there would be any problem using a 52" if thats what you wanted.

Which tires do you have? It will make somewhat of a difference with the Blades.

I have been told a 50" tiller works good in previously worked ground, (gardens). Otherwise, 42-48" for all around usage.

- rototiller--48"-52"

Would a 55" rototiller be too much for a GC2310? I have clay soil and lots of stones.

I'm asking because a nearby farm equipment auction place has new-old stock Agric rototillers at their auctions, and often the smallest ones that they have are the 55" models.

We have a 50" Farm King on our 1523. And with 4 - 40 pound suitcase weights on the front, seems to be an excellent match.

I have the 48" rear snowblower, got it on ebay last spring and it's heavy duty, thicksteel, blows great, If your getting somehing heavy stick with the 48" as mentioned before, the front end gets very light even with the FEL. if the unit is not cmercial grade or regular grade theysay, I'd go with a 54" just because it gives ou a little more manuvering room whenblowng while turning in a bend.
