Options for tractors

I have purchased a Kubota 3830 GST it arrives this week,
the dealer will put it together and deliver soon. My question is
are there any other options that you would put on the tractor
before you get it that if you spend the extra money now
you would be happy that you did. Example a guy that I work
with has a hydralic leaver that raises and lowers (I dont know
the proper name for) the part that you adjust to put your implements on. He said you could level your post hole digger
or angle your box scraper.
So I was wondering is this something to get, the dealer
said it would be about 800 dollars more for the hydralics
or are there other items that you would put on the tractor
that would be money well spent.
I have 30 acres that are rolling in the mountains of Va that
I plan on keeping up and landscaping

One more item I am putting a 723 loader with a tooth bar
and quick attach on the bucket and loader

Higher capacity alternator...

The right tires for your use...

Top and tilt as you mentioned [if you can't do it cheaper yourself later...]

PS...get the largest lift capacity loader available...and the quick attach option like you mentioned in the second post...

Pallet forks are real nice but can be added later. Get the kind that will go on the quick attach in place of the bucket...so you can see what you are doing...

Get a rfm or brush hog that is a bit wider than the rear wheels so you can cut close to things when you want to...

welcome to the forum, u don;t say what actually u are going to use the tractor for, do u need to mow? do u need to brush hog? these are implements, so don't really make much diff if u get them now or later. less u can get a better deal now

Frank, that's what I would say, if the dealer makes you a better offer, as they often do, when you're making the original purchase, get all that you think you'll need and use. I'm really glad I got a boxblade for digging and leveling dirt, roots. It's been very handy along with loader and BH and rotary mower. Good luck, and enjoy your bota! John

Walternva, other options you might want to consider:
1. A hook welded to the mid top of your FEL bucket (my dealer did it free and I use it all the time).
2. foldable ROPS if you don't already have them.
3. A canopy
4. For possible flats put a sealant in the tires.
5. At least 2 Hydraulic remotes, one for tilting implements forward and back and one for tilting implements side to side. (top and tilt). The dealer might be able to install the hydraulic cylinders that these remotes will go to. They will be on the rear three point hitch, one on the top link and one on the right link. See attachment photo.

Also complete as many of the non tractor jobs around the house that you can, because once the tractor arrives they will rob you of seat time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
