Tractor
Ultra-Wide B7500 & looking for a 100hp
OK, so the last two tractors were a bust. The Kubota M105s had at least 6k hrs and was beaten to death. The next one I got was a kubota M9960. It was supposed to be a 2016 with 1400hrs but they sent me a 2012 with 4500hrs and a broken FEL mount! Unscrupulous dealers!

So I'm on the hunt again. Here's my current options.

__________________________
Massey 4710 low profile w/ 931X FEL and 1000hrs

Kubota M5-111D w/FEL and 900hrs

JD 5105ML w/563 FEL and 2500hrs. Some rust here and there.

Any of these stand out? I prefer low profile and these 3 are in my price range, except that M5 is at the top of my budget.

If these tractors are not in area where you can drive to them and physically climb all over them and drive them around, I would pass on all of the above.

I'm a big fan of AGCO and I like that the one listed does not have DEF. I don't know about the emissions on the JD as it doesn't really state what it has.

All of those are capable tractors but it would likely come down to the emission system for me.

I would ask the dealers about that and also, is there a AGCO dealer within an hour. That is a big tractor if you ever have it serviced.

That's kinda the problem. Where I am, anything that's sold is crazy high. Because I'm in such a rural area, anything in a 1.5hr circle is the same. Say the average price of a M5-095 is 45k on Tractorhouse.com. Locally 1.5hr circle it's be listed for $65k - which I have seen in tractors, dozer, and other heavy equipment.

Local purchases are out.

As a matter of fact, I just saw a 5105M pop up, without a loader, about 30 minutes from here. It was around $60k. On tractorhouse.com comparable ones wer in the 40s. The ones in the 60s and 70s were much nicer and had a FEL with less hours.

I think that Massey has the EPA double whammy.

What do you like about them specifically?

I started out liking the smaller Massey with the Iseki engines. We now have a Massey 1750M and I really like it. It has a Shibaura turbo diesel with EGR and DOC but no DEF to worry about.

I'm not familiar with the larger AGCO machines but I have been impressed with the quality to cost ratio of the smaller AGCO machines. I would assume it translates to the larger ones also.

Another tractor you should consider looking for is the CASE IH 105u. My FIL had one and it was a really nice tractor. We sold it when he passed because we didn't really need a 105hp tractor for our uses.\

There's actually a case 105a low profile for sale right now. But I haven't moved on it because I know nothing about case.

There are as many Case IH farmers around me as there are JD. These are big farmers, 3,000 acres plus. Big for Ohio anyway. There is a lot of Case IH dealers around me.

My FIL had all Case IH when he retired except for one JD 3010.

He was a Jet engine mechanic in the AF and is very respected around here for his knowledge of equipment and for that reason, I would not be afraid of a Case IH.

They have the Fiat PowerTrain Technologies engine it appears. I would give them a look if the Case IH dealer is nearby.

@Hay Dude. Has experience with AGCO and CaseIH larger machines. He may be able to give you some insight on the pros and cons.

Just a FYI that CIH 105u is the same tractor as the New Holland T5.105 if you want some more to choose from.

Michigan, he has a guy that will haul them too.
More helpful to include a link than a screen shot (or at least a screen shot with the company name, so he can search for a link), so he can get the rest of the details

I have to totally agree. The "pig in a poke" aspect of used tractors, especially when they seem like seem like really good deals makes it doubly important for the buyer to beware.

I hope that neither of these options are from the dealers that sold you the last couple bargains!

Everything on it is new. New motor, cab, wiring, battery, alt, starter, hoses, belts, filters, fluids and hydraulics. Previous owner sabotage the tractor to collect insurance. I buy and sell Kubota and reconditioned them in my shop
I am a one man operation with a long list of references. The price of this tractor is $82,000. John 904-813-4740
