The neighborhood changed to a nicer shade of orange this AM as the new BX1800 came in on the rollback. Ispent the next 2 hours with the guy who did the set up of the tractor, that was very informative, and pretty much mirrored the sentiments and advice here. Nothing like talking to the set up mechanic.
I bought a box scraper also, and its been on the tractor long enough to move it. Never did get it on all the way tho... The mechanic said to spread the arms out all the way. I got 1 in all the way but never got the other on all the way, just enough pick it up and move to the shade.
The wife drove it and had a big grin on her face and exclaimed that "this is fun!". (The boss is happy!)
I have to go to a birthday party and have to cut the fun short till later. I'll do a search about the box scraper and 3ph arms and get some tips on adjusting the arms to get the scraper on. I may have to turn the pins to the inside on the blade to get it to work.
Also have to set the deck and scalp wheels lower to cut the weeds, since with the drought, thats the only thing growing fast around here!
