Hi guys,

thanks for all your help in making decision between the 3320 and 3720.
I have decided on ordering a 3720 because of the extra horsepower and torque.

I am getting an open station tractor
some of the options i will be getting include
r-4 tires probable the larger ones , what do you guys think.
I believe the concesses of this forum would be get them loaded.
hydro
mid pto
448 backhoe with 18" bucket
300 cx loader

options that i know of that i am considering

automotive cruise control
4 in 1 bucket and deleting the standard bucket
diverter valve with control for 4 in 1 functions on the joystick (is this the correct term )

I will probably buy a few attachments also but no need to go into that in this tread.

with all of this said what should i look into ordering with the tractor that would make either more comfortable, easy to operate, or perform better?

thank you very much for your help

work/aux lights?

Deere3320,

The auto cruise is an inexpensive option that really is nice, you have considered it. Please also consider the air ride seat. It is an enormous improvement over the standard scissor style seat that comes stock. I have it on my 3720 and really like it. I am on the fence about the four in one bucket. I had one on my 4520 and really liked it, but the issue you might encounter is the bucket weight is included in the total lifting capacity of your loader. It weighes over 400#. This will, of course, markedly reduce the amount of effective material lifting your loader can do. With a 300cx, which I also have this is not that big a deal, but it just took your full height capacity (listed) from 1600# or so to under 1200# or so, so no big rocks, etc. This to me is a problem with the mid frame loaders. On the larger 4000 machines, the loader capacities are so much higher that it is not as noticeable. Also, bear in mind you will need do ballast more aggressively too, even with the weight of the backhoe. The light kits are nice but are a pain in the rumpus if you have to regularly fold down your ROPS, which I do. I skipped those, but wish I was able to have them.

I ordered a 3320 with hd bucket and the extra lines on the loader. I'll be using my light duty Millonzi grapple. Read some threads on Grapples/4in1 buckets before you buy one. JC

thank guys good advice.
i will make sure i order the deluxe grill guard
some work lights
the auto cruise sounds good , i will get that also
the air seat sounds like it would be better on the back so that is in
this will be my first tractor and i hope i am making the right choice with the 4 in 1 bucket , if it is not heavy duty enough i can still buy one of hd buckets.
any thing else you would like to help me spend my money on.
i don't want to order it without an option that i will regret later on and not be able to add it .

3rd valve, or is that extraneous with the power beyond kit for the backhoe?

Cab? I know you mentioned the open station, but in Maine I suspect you'll be dealing with snow and wind on occasion. Come January you may wish you had spent the extra $$$??

That is a good idea, get the option of adding more hydraulic remotes. You will definitely want them in the future if you want to add TNT or something like that.

Deere 3320,

Most importantly, don't forget you’re going to need a new alias.
