I am torn between kubota 3130 and NH tc35. Both are close in price but the Kubota dealer is local. I like the comfort of the NH but so many points have lead me to lean toward the Kubota. Please help.
It will be primeraly used for loader and backhoe use in my landscaping company.
I would be thankful for any advice.

My advice would be to make sure of your decision. I certainly wouldn't think of ordering a tractor tomorrow if you are unsure today.

I guess you should be comparing dealers now.

Look at the parts dept. What do they stock? How long to get parts?

Compare service depts. How many techs? How much are their labor rates? Is the shop clean and organized?

Thanks, thats a good idea.

My biggest concern is I would be purchasing a Nh out of state and having a local dealer to service it. If I bought the Kubota the dealer would be local. This is my biggest problem.
I like the NH better but I dont know if I like it so much as to be having dealer problems. Has anyone delt with this?

I am a bit confused /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif if you like the NH, what points led you to lean towards the kubota. you stated that you are going to use it in your business, so i would imagine you will be getting ample seat time, and comfort is a great part of the whole thing. don't rush if you are not sure.

Well first, and formost I wouldnt be buying the NH from a local dealer. It is $7000 cheaper in N.C. (I live in Ma.). I am concerned about the service I would be getting. And the market, resale, weight specs and motor in the Kubota is apealing.

You've been given good advice so far. What has been said is pretty much what YOU have to decide on. Not much more to it than that. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If you are using this in a business, and you can't afford down time, you had better buy from a dealer that can support you with both service and parts. Are there more Kubota dealers in your area than NH? Is the comfort factor of the NH that significant over the Kubota?

As much as I like New Holland and I think it will give you just as good of service as the Kubota along with resale value over the years I don't think it is a good investment to buy elsewhere expecting your local dealer to service it. They are going to take care of their customers before they take care of you. There has been many posts here on TBN in regards to this so if you think your going to buy outstate I would be talking to the local to see if he would even service you. I do feel the New Holland is more comfortable than the Kubota and in the long run with many hours it is worth more because of that but none are good if they are in the driveway waiting for parts or service. Now you Kubota guys don't bash me on the comfort level, this is just my personal preference.

Oh yes, and buying out of state does not exclude you from paying sales tax in most states.
