I have what I believe is and original Ariens Rocket rear tyne 28" tiller with a 5.5 HP Tecumseh engine. According to the gentleman who donated it (we are a non profit) it has less than 100 hours use on it, the tynes are in great shape, 2 forward gears and no reverse, handles unlock for turning, pull starts on the first pull for every day use and is in great shape. I have used it on some tough clay and it works great
Does anyone know what I can ask as a selling price for this. We are in the town of Sonoma, Ca and I would like to sell or trade it for a very high quality 22" wheeled string trimmer. Anyone recommend a good trimmer like the one I want. I was told that Ariens makes a good one, and the two other brands that have been recommended already are DR and Homelite.
