I got a good trade in on my other truck. They use mostly coarse sand on the roads in Alberta. According to what I've read, Ford also treats the aluminum to resist corrosion so I have no doubts the body will last longer than a steel body.

Still? They were using that in the '70's when I was there. The stuff is almost like unwashed pea gravel. Maybe that is why Alberta doesn't have a windshield law like they do in Ontario.
