I was using my brother in laws Fermec Back hoe and I busted one of the cylinders....It is a big one, probably about 4' long.

How much is this gonna cost me to get repaired???

I am not sure about the cost but take to a shop that repairs hyd cylinders, not the dealer. The dealer will want to replace the whole cylinder and charge you a lot more.

Hydraulic cylinders are very common and you should be able to find an independent shop that will be reasonably priced for the repair.

Depends on what broke. Remove the cylinder and take it to a local hydraulic repair shop. That's where a dealer will send it and add in his markup too. Get an estimate and compare it against a new cylinder. I am sure it will cost less to repair than replace.
