OK, im back for a month, so I figured Id resume my searching. Most of yall know Ive got about 15 acres, 1 huge hillside, and Im gonna be diggin out a bunch of stumps and doing some decent dirt work. I know that I prolly should get a larger unit, but price, money, and WEIGHT are huge factors here. Im no expert, but Ive been an operator for a while now, over a year, so I feel confident in doing a little more work to get it done in my price range.

Anyways, Ive been considering a tractor/loader/backhoe combo for a while and I keep coming back to the B26. **** of a little digger, but the price point is still a little high for me. Im thinking I may just have to settle on it in the end, but im still hoping for 25k or less, so Ill keep looking.

SO,.. Ive been looking around, and it seems (as per kubotas page) that I could get a L3400 with LA463 Loader and teh BH75A BH. Not exactly up to par with the B26 power wise, but about 2k cheaper (~26k)

But what if I wanted to put Woods parts on there? with teh LC102 X Loader and 80X BH I could be mostly above the B26 power wise, even tho I sacrifice alittle BH depth. This seems to be fine, but I cant find a price point for woods extras..

So, I guess Im asking a few things.
1. Am I just waisting my time with looking around or should I just stick with the B26?
2. Is there a comparable unit from kubota that could do the same jobs (maybe with a little more work) for cheaper?
3. Where can I find rough prices on these Woods toys?
4. Im assuming that if I get a Kubota with Woods gear, that voids the nice 0% 42 months deal? Because that would be really nice to have..

Sorry for beating the dead horse here, but I am just trying to cover my *** here, I dont want to spend a large chunk of money and get something not up to par
Thanks so much!

0/42 is only good on all Kubota stuff, you can't mix in stuff from other vendors. The B26 is a little powerhouse. The L2800/L3400 TLB is the next best comparison. You could also probably get a L3240DT in there. B21's are still available as well.

I have the L2800 with the BH75 backhoe and like it very much so my recommendation may seem a bit odd. I would find a way to justify the price of the B26 for what you wish to do with it. I find my self wishing I had one but trading for one now would be too expensive. The dirt work capabilities of the B26 is much more than a couple thousand dollars difference. If you could work both tractors side by side for a few days, I'm pretty sure you would find that extra money for the B26.

You could pick up a low hour l35 for 20-22k.
