My 2004 Dodge 2500 Cummins generally seems to get 18-20 mpg. I don't drive but 5-6,000 miles a year. Trips to the feed store, getting hay in the bed or on a 16" trailer, or going to down to bank or eat. Even on a test economy trip of 426 miles, mostly highway and highway speed 60 mph on flat roads it got 23.4.
