Am I understanding this right? You swerved to miss a fox and got a stone wall instead? That'd be tough./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

There a good size rock caught between the frame and oil pan, also rip the the muffler header. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
The tow truck operator said "better call EPS for spill clean up" thats after he drag the pick up of the stonewall.
Oh well everybody lived..thats what counts.

Yep..you got it right Bird.
My better half enjoys a pair of fox thats been hanging around the house for a couple months now {I think she been feeding them /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif}and if had hit the little bugger..well. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Oh dear/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Glad you're ok. If you had to do it again, what would you do?

My philosophy about hitting/avoiding animals is, if it fits under the bumper, just run it over (when the only other alternative is an expen$ive bill).

The fox is kinda of her pet..matter of fact both of the foxes are,and even early this morning there outside running around playing in the snow and eating dinner buns from last night /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif and they ain't getting my dounts!! /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif
To be honest if was to happen again and everything turn out okay..it would be fine.
Plastic, fluid, paint etc..cheap to replace, but one of natures wonders and sad heart can't be replace.

Good guy Thomas... Foxes are beautiful little critters. Is it a red or gray?

Oh heck toss em the last donut Thomas... Better yet I hear they like chicken. Chicken's cheap Give em a real treat to help em build up reserves during the snowfall. It can be tough hunting with a thick snow cover. Bet you don't have many mice or rats around.

I had a red for a pet till he got too big and I cut em loose.

Neat!

They are a pair of red fox,and its grand to watch them play, share, work together.
Since the city {neighbors /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif }put a stops of me feeding the deer last year, there been twice of much wildlife hanging around..deer,turkeys,fox,birds. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
I quote from my better have."The papers doesn't mention me and the cuties are hungry"..gotta love it. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Cold Water Creek (mail order company) has a print of two red foxes rubbing faces together. You should get it for your wife. The expressions in their eyes say all there is to say about love...

Sounds like you live in a very pretty place and have a wonderful - caring wife. Lucky guy!
