I am glad your tire problem was just a stem.

The Fermec looks just like my neighbors Terex except the Terex has a single cylinder excavation style bucket on it and its white with red and black trim. It is an awesome machine. I borrowed it last fall for some light demolition work. Took about 10 minutes to complete the job from the luxury of an air conditioned cab and soft music on the cd player.

Fermec being English is correct. They bought our Massey Ferguson at the time. JCB, and several other major brands are either completely built or parts there of, in England

If I'm not mistaken Ron's also has a single cylinder on the loader. It is a very powerful machine... at first we referred to it as the "Mighty Fermec"... it's been shortened now to just "The Mighty" /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Fermec actually came out of Massey when Massey disolved it's construction machinery divison in the 80's. Kobelco sold them for awhile then Fermec took that over. Terex bought fermec after a couple years. The State hwy. dept has a few. They look like a good machine though I've never got to kick the tires sort to speak. Nearest dealer is Memphis and I hate Memphis.... too many people...

My buddies Terex is I think, 80 horsepower. I could be wrong. The castings for the hoe, especially the swing frame casting is massive. I don't particularly like the operators station. The rotating seat has a little too little legroom in the backhoe position for me, but then I don't own it. I just borrowed it. I did fill it back up after 10 minutes though. I think it took about 1/2 gallon.

It says "Made in England" on the unit. Just like my Triumph Motorcycle. The closest dealer to us is in Reading, Michigan.
