Those are good tires that you have, long wearing and look decent at least on folks i know hve thems trucks and in stores. I think you will have no trouble with traction, esp where you will be taking a $30K SUV

Those Xterras, if optioned right, can be a real off road vehicle.
The engines in them are great (2005 onward...before 2005, they were a bit short on power).

This is the Pro-4x (previously known as the 'off road') so it has the locking differential and maybe a couple other things the lower models dont have available as options..
