Have just about finished major deck project-all but outdoor kitchen section and am really struggling on how to do counter top. No roof planned, tree sap, sun, rain, hot-cold and limited budget. Any ideas appreciated.

Yes,
Pay me enough to ship the stainless steel countertop and sink with cabinets below the top, and a wall hanging cabinet that goes over it to Texas.
I sold it to a friend and when he got ready to move, I bought it back. Not sure why, just did.

Here is what I did. I had a stamped concrete patio put in. I made an 8' form designed to fit my drop in grill. A little rebar, and let it cure for 3 weeks before I moved it. Concrete guy didnt charge me anything to drop a few buckets of colored concrete in the form. Here is the end result.
I've got an industrial catalog around here somewhere that I haven't looked at in a while - but they had bench tops that were surprisingly cheap - laminated wood, stainless steel, other types. I'd do a search for that type thing on the net and see what ya come up with.
