I just finished the fifty-hour service and the last thing I did was fill the hydro with UDT. I added a 2.5-gallon can, checked it and added about another 1.5 gallons, checked it and it was above the full line. I drained some out, via the front drain and checked again, still too high. I drained another quart out and still too high. It's about a half inch above the full line.
Started it up and let it idle for 5 minutes to see if I had any air in the lines that would lower the level when they cleared, no luck. Engaged the transmission, raised and lowered the FEL and three point and turned the wheels side to side, still too high. Pulled it in and parked it for the night. I'll check it tomorrow morning and drain more out.
When I drained some after running the engine, the fluid was foamy, like it was full of air. Hoping the little workout will move the air out of the lines and level the fluid close to the correct amount.
What are the ramifications of running it a bit over filled on fluid?
Thanks,
