Overfilled oil 2610D related posting 2/14

I overfilled my tractor with about a quart to quart & half. !) If it ran for abour .25 hours would this cause any damage? 2) Is the dip stick read after screwing it in all the way or just inserting it to the treads? 3) On the dip stick there are x's running from the bottom tip up to about 3/4 the way up, then the stick is flat for about an inch or two. At what point is the oil full? Thanks. I am new at this.

No harm done, read with dipstick just sitting on top of the threads, full is top of the top X.
